Organisation Description
Speakers School Council Award Run by the Education Service, this fantastic awards scheme invites schools to tell us about a school council or other student-initiated project that has made a difference in their school, local community, or even globally. Wereceived this award in February 2015.
Leading Parent Partnership The Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) is a national award that strengthens and enhances school sor academies work with parents and carers. We received the LPPA award in July 2015.
Operation Encompass Operation Encompass is a project in which all Newcastle Schools and the City Council are involved. This project began in November 2016 and aims to support children affected by domestic abuse.
Better Health at Work The Better Health at Work Award recognises the efforts of employers in the North East and Cumbria in addressing health issues within the workplace. We recevied the Better Health at Work Bronze Award in October 2017.
Anti-Bullying Quality Mark ABQM-UK is a national award that enables schools to demonstrate to parents, OFSTED and others that the safety of children is taken seriously and bullying is not tolerated. We received the Anti-Bullying Quality Mark in March 2016.
National Safety Mark Certificate SafetyMARK is a safety support and ceriftication scheme created specially for the education sector. It aims to helps schools to manage and improve their safety standards and to reconise and reward those that have gone the extra mile. We have recently had our National Safety Mark renewed in January 2017.
PASMA Representing the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, specifiers and users, PASMA provides and oversees the industry standard training scheme and is a major publiser of safety-related knowledge, infomation and guidance. Trinity Academy Newcastle became an accredited PASMA organisation in October 2015.
Investing in Children Investing in Children membership gives organisations national recognition for the good practise and active inclusion of children and young people in dialogue resulting in change.
Governor Mark Governor Mark is a national award. It is a kite mark which provides external evalution of the quality of governance in a school. We received the Governor Mark in March 2015.
CPLD Quality Mark The CPLD Quality Mark is the countrys premium quality mark for guiding and accrediting the provision of outstanding Continuous Professional Learning and Development for all staff working in educational settings.
Sport England Sport England works in cooperation with other organisations to bring value into community sport.
Team Teach Trinity Academy Newcastle is the licenced Team Teach provider for the Newcastle Local Authority Area. Team Teach positive handling courses aimed at supporting staff working with children and adults who display challenging behaviour. We become licensed by Team Teach in March 2015.
