Alternative Provisions- Trinity Farm

See all News

Some of our students have been accessing the Land Based Studies programme as part of their alternative provision. Within their sessions in the Solutions classroom and on Trinity farm, they cover aspects of animal care, agriculture and horticulture.

Pupils’ feed the animals, clean the animal’s accommodation, groom the animals, weed the planter beds, plant seeds and harvest vegetables.

Students widen their knowledge of the different animals and plants on Trinity farm as well as developing their practical skills and increasing their confidence levels. They work in all weathers and build a portfolio of the hard work they complete to gain their Land Based Studies qualification.
