For students who are in the Right Place, at the Right Time and doing the Right Thing, mountain biking as a rewardtakes place only 10 minutes out of Newcastle. Starting at Newburn, students from Trinity Academy Newcastle rode aloop towards Wylam, taking in some of the North Easts regenerated, historicrail neworks. The Keelman's way is a low level ride, passing George Stephenson's Birthplace, crossing the River Tyne (twice) and riding some short technical sections. Students are able to work on their fitness, whilst having the pleasure of riding mountain bikes in the fresh air.
The ride is recorded on Strava, and linked to Relive which captures the route as a short film. Enjoy!
