Parent's Evening Oakfield- Tuesday 27th March 2018

See all News

Thank you so much to the many of our amazing parents and carers who turned out to attend our parents’ evening. It was great to see some of our new parents there too. There was a really nice atmosphere in the dining hall; a warmth and friendship which was acknowledged by everyone. The mutual support, passion and commitment shared by staff, parents and carers was palpable. It was a delight. It never ceases to amaze just how hard we all work together to gain the best possible outcomes for our children and how strong the links between home and school are.

Starting September 2018, we will be offering a broader range of qualifications; thank you to the parents and carers of Year 9 and 10 students who attended the preview of our new curriculum pathways and took away the list of choices to discuss with their child.

As ever, thanks and appreciation goes to all of our parents and carers for your continued strength and support. A special thank you to our Connexions team – Mike Myers and Matt Ellaway – who came along to offer further education and careers advice.

Any parents and carers who couldn’t make it to the event can contact school and arrange an appointment to come in and discuss your child’s progress. You will receive information in the post regarding the curriculum pathways planned for September 2018, but you can also request information from school. We look forward to hearing from you.
