Our drop down day this half term focused on relationships, White group made ASD in all its forms the focus of their day. We researched famous people who have been diagnosed with forms of ASD and celebrated their successes.
The group created a display for our classroom to help others in school to understand ASD and included suggestions and information about how people with ASD manage their everyday lives. The students were very frank and honest and thoroughly enjoyed the therapeutic benefits of interacting with the animals at the farm.
We hope that staff and students will pop in to our classroom to share our display work!
