Following the Covid-19 outbreak, it was reported that food banks across the UK have experienced a significant decrease in the number of donations they receive. As a result, they have been forced to ration produce for low-income families and the most vulnerable members of society. In some cases, food banks have had no choice but to close their doors.
Staff at Trinity Solutions Academy decided that we should do something positive to spread a little joy during these difficult times. We began collecting items such as pasta, toiletries, animal food and non-perishables to donate to Trussell Trust Food Bank. We hope that our contribution will help to ease the pressure on our local community and put a smile on people’s faces.
Thank you to everyone at Trinity Solutions Academy and to Mike Myers at Connexions for their donations and support.
