LLDDDelivers Good Will

On Friday 15th December, staff and students from our LLDD team donated Christmas hampers to some lucky people across Newcastle. The students worked with staff from Protocol to put together produce from Trinity farm and other Christmas treats to make delightful festive Christmas hampers. They made Christmas cards and decorated the hampers themselves. Students contacted four chosen places of need in Newcastle by phone and demonstrated excellent conversational skills! All staff and students wore Christmas clothing, even Alfie had his Christmas boppers on too!

George drove the minibus and Sarah made sure they went the right way to drop off the hampers! They visited Newcastle Foodbank, Smiles for Life charity, Percy Hedley Foundation and St Catherine’s Care Home. The students spoke very politely to all of the people they met, described what we do at Trinity Academy and explained how they had made the hampers. It was a brilliant day for all and Alfie had lots of fun too!
