Trinity Academy are an accredited PASMA training organisation in the North East, authorised to deliver PASMA's Mobile Access Towers For Users course. The course is a minimum of 6 hours and delegates must achieve a pass rate of 80% in the morning's theory assessment in order to progress to the afternoon's practical session.
Who should attend PASMA working at height training?
Anyone whose duties include the need to assemble, use, inspect, alter, and dismantle mobile access towers. As well as meeting legislative requirements, the knowledge that the training provides will allow delegates to maximise their personal safety and that of their co-workers.
No formal qualifications or experience are necessary however, it would be beneficial if delegates had a basic understanding of working at height regulations and health and safety.
Literacy and language comprehension are important requirements for any tower user. Delegates will be expected to red safety notices and manufacturers instruction manuals. The assembly and use of mobile access towers can be physically demanding, users should be physically fit and in good health.
On successful completion of a theory test, practical assessment and tower inspection, delegates will receive a PASMA certificate and photo ID card as proof of competence. The card is valid for 5 years and applicants should be at least 16 years old.
